Dita Von Teese's powder puff costume

Dita Von Teese's powder puff costume. I love this costume- it is postively absoloutley stunning! i wish i had this dress.

The outfit is completely enchanting, the photography gives the outfit a edge(almost) making it less ballet dancer and more burlesque(which Dita Von Teese is queen of, i think...)

anyway i have to go as i have ,for the 3rd time, tonsilltis...

Hat-Making.

So today I went to London(Oxford St. to be precise) and went to this absolutely wonderful haberdashery. 3 floors of haberdashering-y goodness... Anyway, they were selling these sort of fascinator hats(minus the decorations), it was just the base of a fascinator hat. So i bought a plain black one and some mesh netting in pink and another black. I also have these feathers my dad brought back from Japan so i was going to add some feathers and other bits to it & create my own little fascinator hat - will blog again tomorrow with something interesting.

The Matrix.

Probably the most amazing sci-fi film so far. Although not everyone seems to think so. To be honest I just thought the costumes were cool. I just really like the idea of running around in a leather cape with really small shiny black sunglasses.

Summary;  A computer hacker finds out that his entire life has been a virtual dream, controlled by some computer geeks in the far future. He joins a resistance movement to free humanity from the brainwashed lives they have been living.


Most reviews on the internet say it was actually pretty rubbish but i love sci-fi. Also martial-arts?! Yeah i love that whole martial art thing. I once did self-defence but the lady said i was the most ballelistic mugger ever. Don't really understand how I was the mugger, but whatever.


The Matrix actually freaked me out a bit. For a while i seriously thought our lives were all lies, and that we were being controlled by some crazies. I tried to break free but there was actuallt nothing to break free of. I did that once with the film Spirited Away(that film is disturbing and i still get freaked out when I watch it), you see the mum and dad eat food and they turned into pigs. I thought my Grandma's cooking would turn me into a pig. So I went hungry till my mum made me eat it.


Anyway - If you have seen the film, did you see the lobby scene? Well, you should. Here it is:

So that fight scene is pretty good? I quite like a bit of fighting - this scene is one of the most famous figght scenes ever. And you can tell why. The special effects are great too!
